A scoop coater is a must for proper emulsion application. Emulsion scoop coaters come in any size that you need. A standard 20x24 inch screen will require a 16 inch scoop coater. A standard 23x31 inch screen will require a 18 inch scoop coater. If your current scoop coater has jagged edges it is definitely time to replace it.
